New Features
User Preferences
- Several features to make user's life with ATOLLON easier added, incl. possibility to set default application that is open after login. You can select any popular app (Communication, Tasks, Time Sheet, Invoices, ...) or you can create new custom app and select it as well (Deals, Service, Technology tracking, etc.)
- Users may setup forwarding e-mail address, where all internal notifications will be sent.
- Users may update their preferred system language without admin's assistance.
- User preferences may be administered by both system administrator and user herself.
Enhancements
Communication
- Using communication by keyboard only improved. Now you can browse messages, delete them using keyboard only. After communication is open, first message is highlighted.
Contacts
- It is now much easier to add new person to company, incl. contact information or position name.
Deals, projects
- It is easier now to create new client during new deal or project creation. Until now you had to switch to Finder, now the user workflow is smoother.
- It is possible to create project under sub-folders even from projects / deals overview. Until now this was possible only using Finder.
- It is possible to create organization branches (sub-folders) during New project creation. This helps when client has branches and you want to fine-tune relationship to larger organizations with branches.
- Integration to several ERP systems in one ATOLLON workspace is now easier. Consolidation of records among several organization units (ie contacts database or products) is easier.
- Deal calculation improved for multi-currency products with purchase prices.
- It is easier to modify deal currency and at the same time change individual exchange rate.
General
- Login to system is now automated on trusted computers. No need to add password twice.
- Sidebar will be hidden after start now.
Invoices Issued
- It is possible to change default due days for issued invoices. Previously this setup was per contact, now the default is general (for the whole system), but you can still add individual due days to each contact.
- It is possible to disable editing invoice number(s) for users without invoicing super-powers (authorize rights).
Invoices Received
- Approval value is now by default calculated from total excl. VAT.
- New business intelligence Cube "Invoice Approval History" may now provide insight into Supplier / Customer invoice approval statistics.
Recruitment
- New search criteria to applicant search added - now it is possible to filter for candidate type (ie applicant, temporary help, contractor, VIP, etc.)
Workflow
- New plugin "Context Workflow Actions" enables you to create clone of existing Activity - that includes form values, shift of service dates. This automates regular service activities.
Bug Fixes and Backend Improvements
- Communication > Tasks - Creating message follow-up task - fixed new task date from .. to.
- Communication - Many under the hood improvements for reliability of e-mail communication, mass mailing of thousands of e-mails in a batch, completely rewritten composing of new e-mails to follow newest standards, etc.
- Communication - Fixed printing e-mail with various encodings in body (ie Czech characters coming from legacy e-mail systems)
- Contacts - Once new contact folder (client, supplier, employee,...) is created by drag & drop, it is immediately visible and ready for use.
- Contacts - VAT number is not added automatically, if not filled-in previously.
- Recruitment - When first job advertisement added, it was not saved to selected target channel. Now it is more reliable.
- Recruitment - Fixed adding empty lines into job advertisement's HTML editor

New Features
Installed Technology
- It is now possible to track technology installed at client's premises or used in sales process (rented / temporarily provided)
Print MS Word Document to PDF
- It is possible to send or print MS Word document in PDF format. Useful when sending draft contracts, service protocols or proposals generated from ATOLLON.
Invoice Approval History Reporting
- New Business Intelligence cube that allows managers analyse time needed to approve various documents (estimates, orders, invoices) by ATOLLON users.
Enhancements
Communication
- Better way of selecting meeting participants (better identifiable, if similar names occur).
- Easily create follow-up task from meeting notes.
Contacts
- New filter options for related contacts (useful for Recruitment business - ie is the related person our client or applicant?).
Deals
- New visualisation of profit margin in Deal detail. Useful for trading companies that buy & sell goods or services.
- Quick update of deal margin.
- Multiple currencies supported in purchasing goods on one deal.
- Deal value quick update now supporting various currencies used in purchase value of goods.
Estimates
- It is possible to directly create Sales Order from Estimate detail (as an faster alternative to order delivery, when compared to previous form of project budget setup based on approved Estimate value).
Finder
Mass mail
- Completely rewritten backend for sending mass e-mail correspondence, now more stable and more descriptive notifications.
- It is possible to limit sending mass e-mail to individual contacts based on date range (ie start sending from date or stop sending by selected date).
- Color icon indication of whether or not the massmail is enabled for the recipient (also based on date from...to range limit).
- Mass mail messages are now visually different (have different ico) from regular e-mails in Communication.
Recruitment
- Candidate availability date is now more flexible (added "after X days", which automatically delays availability date considering candidate's current job termination notice).
- BI cube Finance Transactions now extended with MD Sold or MD Purchased reporting measures to calculate margin of contracting business. The calculation of MD rate considers you can send invoices for h / hrs or MD / Days units. Each day has 8 working hours.
Timeline
- Now each message type (e-mail, phone call, meeting note, notice, workflow mail, massmail, etc.) is represented as different type of timeline entry. That means you can filter out communication that you don't want to see (ie not show massmail).
- BI reporting based on timeline data is automatically enhanced to count number of phonecalls / massmail sends / email sends, etc.
Workflow
- Repeated (monthly / yearly, etc.) service may now clone existing form data to make service more productive (only changes to service forms may be filled-in).
- Added new workflow-enabled fields to track and create workflow actions (activity start / end dates, folder/contact last contact date (ie to create task X days after last contact), contact massmail enabled from ... to (ie create task X days after massmail is disabled).
Bug Fixes and Backend Improvements
- Creating new Invoice, Estimate or Order is now 4x faster (in average).
- All tools now have export / import features to migrate ATOLLON data to or from other platforms (or in between ATOLLON instances).
- Strict split of plaintext and HTML signature added automatically to the end of each e-mail.
- Fixed saving empty document - caused server module crash & module restart before.

Workflow
New plugin: Context Messages
- It is possible to automate and send any notification in rich text (HTML) format based on changes in context - to both internal users and clients. Ie after client is created / project (deal) updated / activity scheduled or expiring, etc.
New plugin: Context Actions
- Several new workflow automation tools created to help you streamline your key business processes and quality of sales and support activities. For example, using this plugin you can automate any recurring (service) activity. When one (service) activity ends, it may create (30 days in advance) new activity clone to prepare for another period / activity (and remind your customer at the same time).

- It is possible to set-up access rights of users to Custom Apps.
Estimates
- New Estimate calc tool for easier setting discounts and price incl. VAT.
Finder
- Forms for New project, New activity now using the same easy-to-use layout.
- It is possible to create sub-folders in Finder to enable company / sub-company structure. Ie University > Faculty clients now supported.
- It is possible to import folders, projects and activities with form data. See Options (>) button on any context folder detail (Export/Import).
Gallery
- Mobile Gallery (Android, iOS) now using native component to upload images taken by your in-hand camera.
Invoicing
- It is possible to change print styles (colors, fonts) to default print templates of invoices (as well as other documents). Without need to making your "custom" print templates.
- New (optional) component for editing e-mail in HTML (rich text) format. Major enhancement allowing you to rich format e-mail, add tables and images. See My Preferences under your top right name to set preferred e-mail editor.
As a result, if you choose TinyMCE, you can use rich formatting in e-mail:
- E-mail can be printed. We were trying to save forests and for long time, but our customers pressure was unsustainable.
- You can Send e-mail as PDF.
- It is possible to open attachment before the e-mail is sent. You can check your document's properly before sending.
Reporting

- Mail: Opening links (URL) from e-mail body (HTML) fixed
- Mail: New validation and security of New mail service - sending e-mails more restricted than before. At the same time more robust for integrations.
- Mail: Fixed auto-mapping received e-mail to contact address (problem with CaSe sensitive e-mail addresses).
- Mass mail: Sending thousands of e-mails are now more reliable and does not need to be executed more than once. Completely rewritten with newest backend framework.
- Recruitment: Saving advanced (customer configured) Job Ads fixed. Now even custom configured fields are properly loaded and saved.
- Recruitment: It should not be possible to search applicants with empty parameters. This caused heavy server load from time to time.
- Workflow: It is now possible to delete time-based workflow settings.
- Workflow: Time-based workflow functions now running with selected user's rights, reliably initiating action in time when needed.
- Tasks: Saving of new Task template is more reliable.
